McKinney Christian Middle School Volleyball Crushes Parish Episcopal

On Thursday, September 1, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School volleyball teams traveled to Dallas to face off against the Parish Episcopal Panthers. Eighth grader Alexis Guerrero of the D1 Middle School team stated, “It’s going to be fun.” Eighth grader Maggie Emley of the D2 Middle School team stated, “We are going to do great, on everything we have been working on and crush the other team.” The D1 Middle School team beat the Panthers in 2 sets, while the D2 Middle School team also came out with a victory in 2 sets. Eighth grader Blakely Scrivner of the D1 Middle School team shared her thoughts on her personal play, as well as the team’s play after the game, “I thought we played pretty good as a team, much better than our first game, I thought I served well and played good defense.” The next game for the MCA Middle School Volleyball team will be on September 6 at Prestonwood North.
