On Thursday, September 22, the McKinney Christian Academy Varsity volleyball team played at home against the Waco Vanguard Vikings. In an important district game, the Mustangs lost the first two sets, and then won three sets in a row to beat the Vikings in a hard fought victory. Before the game, sophomore Kadence Ackmann said, “I’m ready to play after a Tuesday loss, and hopefully bounce back.” After the game, Ackmann reported, “I’m happy we didn’t let up after being down two sets to none, and were able to push through the mental fatigue of playing 5 sets, but we did what we had to take home the win.” The Mustangs hope to continue their season through playoffs.

The Mustangs will play again Tuesday, September 27, at Prince of Peace.
