On Friday September 16th, McKinney Christian Academy’s Middle School students had their annual Homecoming dance. This dance was different than dances in the past. Instead of having a DJ, students each had their own headset listening to the same song. The Middle Schoolers loved the idea and proceeded to dance to the sound of the headset and the singing of all the students. “We thought it would give them more variety in music and it would just be different,” said Mrs. McAnally when asked about choosing the theme. After choosing the theme the response from the students was great. When asked about the dance McAnally said, “The students loved it. There was really high participation and all the students danced!” The Middle Schoolers had a blast and danced the night away in silence.
