The Lady Mustangs celebrate as they earn a point for the round

On Tuesday, October 18, The McKinney Christian Academy varsity volleyball team traveled to Waco, Texas to take on Waco Vanguard. All three sets were positive outcomes for the Lady Mustangs. The first set resulted in a 25-21 Mustang win. Then, the Mustangs won again 25-17 in the second set. Lastly, the third set with a 25-19 victory. In the end, the Lady Mustangs came out victorious winning the match in three quick sets. This victory enhances their record to 10-3 in district and 22-5 on the season. Junior varsity also faced off against Waco Vanguard and secured the win in three sets as well. After the game, freshman Aubrey Hejl stated, “Our energy and communication felt like we really were a team and worked together really well.”

The Lady Mustangs next game will be at home on Thursday, October 20 at 6:30 p.m. This is the last home match and the Mustangs will be celebrating Senior Night.
