On Wednesday, November 16, McKinney Christian Academy’s kindergarten class and their parents celebrated Thanksgiving. Everyone gathered around the cross for the annual Thanksgiving feast. The students dressed up in Thanksgiving related costumes and ate finger foods with family. When asked about her favorite part of the feast, kindergartener Olivia Crespi said, “I loved the food and the juice was my favorite.” The following day the first graders celebrated Corn Day. They participated in corn-themed games, crafts and experiments. They played games such as corn hole and candy corn bowling. They got to make people out of corn husks and enjoy popcorn with their families. Families and students enjoyed the Thanksgiving festivities and activities.
