Thanksgiving Break started on Saturday, November 19 and ended on Sunday, November 27. Thanksgiving was on the Thursday of that week. Many McKinney Christian Academy students traveled and others stayed at home. Freshman Mary LeBlanc and Senior Laney LeBlanc went to Lake Charles, Louisiana to spend time with their family. Junior Grace Krause went to visit her moms home town in Kansas to watch football and spend quality time with her cousins. Freshman Hannah Doshier visited Branson, Missouri with her best friend. Doshier went fishing and went to the Silver Dollar City theme park. Seniors Kate Nordhaus and Sarah Krusing went to Boston, Massachusetts to watch the Harvard vs Yale football game and explore the city. Nordhaus said, “It was a cool experience to see Boston, visit an Ivy League School and getting to spend time with my family.” Sophomores Kadence Ackmann and Mia Gunn went to New York and hit all of the tourist attractions. Senior Nicholas Catullo went to St. Lucie Florida. Catullo said ” I played a lot of golf when I was down there and ran a 5k and of course had Thanksgiving with my family.”
