Senior Spotlight: Lily Jornod and Katelyn Fillebrown

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Lily Jornod and Katelyn Fillebrown.

Lily Jornod has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for ten years. During her time at MCA, she has been involved with Broadcasting as producer and main editor, NHS president, student government historian and captain of the varsity golf team. Outside of school, she spends her time on a competitive dance team, owning a photography and videography business and hanging out with her friends and family. After graduation, she plans on attending Oklahoma Baptist University in the fall. Jornod will be on the dance team and plans on majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications with an Emphasis in Film and Digital Media. Her favorite MCA memory is going to regionals and golfing with her best friend and alumni, Alessia Catullo. A fun fact about Jornod is that she started snowboarding when she was four and used to be on a snowboarding team.

Katelyn Fillebrown has been attending MCA for 15 years. While at MCA, Fillebrown has been involved in basketball and choir. Outside of school, Fillebrown enjoys hanging out with friends, playing sports and relaxing. In the fall, she plans on attending Harding University and majoring in Elementary education and Children’s ministry. Her favorite memory while at MCA was her freshman year playing in a district basketball game in Austin, Texas and becoming closer to the girls and getting to spend to with the team. A fun fact about Fillebrown is that she is a barista.
