Today’s Senior Spotlights are Kate Nordhaus and Laney LeBlanc.

Nordhaus has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since she was in Pre-K. While at MCA, she has been involved in Parakletos, Advocates, Newspaper, football manager and photographer, soccer captain, basketball and track. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing club soccer, watching football and going to church. After graduation, Nordhaus plans on attending Howard Payne University to continue her soccer career and major in Strategic Communications. Her favorite MCA memory is winning powderpuff all fours years of Upper School. A fun fact about Nordhaus is that she has never driven on the highway before.

LeBlanc has been attending MCA for five years. During her time at MCA, she has been involved with basketball, NHS and Yearbook. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going on walks, baking and cooking. In the fall, she plans on attending Hardin-Simmons University and majoring in Nursing. LeBlanc’s favorite MCA memory is going on the college tour her junior year and seeing all the schools with her friends. A fun fact about her is that she has never been on a plane before.
