On Sunday, January 15, the seniors at McKinney Christian Academy set off for their senior retreat. The seniors stayed in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the Chickasaw Resort and Spa. After arrival the students ate pizza and watched Kung Fu Panda. After the movie the students got a bunch of free time to do what they wanted and explore the resort. Chickasaw Resort and Spa had several amenities available for use, including a swimming pool, gym, sauna and hiking trails. On Monday, January 16, the seniors had a group worship and small group session before they set out for a fun day of activities. They started the day off with ziplining and exploring Turner Falls, Oklahoma. The bus then took everyone to a local mexican restaurant where everyone enjoyed lunch together. After lunch, the students went bowling at Bowling Fun in Davis, Oklahoma. After everyone went back to the hotel for some quiet time before dinner and to watch the Dallas Cowboys game. After a great and fun retreat on Tuesday, January 17, the seniors drove back to MCA to finish out their last semester in high school.
