On Monday, February 13, McKinney Christian Academy’s varsity boys soccer team played against Fort Worth Temple Christian. Lone senior, Emilio Sanchez was recognized at halftime for Senior Night. Sanchez led the first half with two goals, giving the Mustangs an advantage over the Eagles. Sanchez has played soccer for MCA since middle school and throughout upper school. Sanchez stated, “I really am going to miss playing on the team when I leave for college. I am so thankful that I got to spend my time in high school time with my team which has helped me grow closer to my coaches and teammates.” The Mustangs will play the Bi-District Playoff game at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 18, at Prince of Peace.
