Today’s Senior Spotlight is Lila Finke and Tyler Swearingen.

Finke has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for nine years. In her time at MCA, she has been involved in choir, NHS, art, baseball athletic training and varsity cheer her freshman year. Outside of school, Finke enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time with the people she loves and winding down while diving into a good book. In the fall, she plans on attending Baylor University and majoring in Education and Psychology. Her favorite MCA memory is going on the college tour her junior year and meeting her best friend. A fun fact about Finke is that she can read 2284 words per minute.

Swearingen has been attending MCA since he was in sixth grade. In his time at MCA, he has been involved in NHS, Newspaper and varsity soccer. Outside of school, Swearingen enjoys skating, cooking, adventuring and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Swearingen plans on attending Oklahoma University and majoring in Business. His favorite MCA memory was going zip lining on a mission trip to Costa Rica his freshman year. A fun fact about him is that he was almost born in Canada.
