Valograms for Valentine’s Day
Lower School sells “Val-o-grams.”
February 16, 2023
On Thursday, February 9, McKinney Christian Academy’s fourth-grade students started selling “Val-o-grams” for students and parents on campus. Each “Val-o-gram” was bright pink for Valentine’s Day and had candy attached for a sweet treat. The “Val-o-grams” are made and sold each year to show appreciation for friends, family and classmates. They also help create unity among the Lower School, Middle School and Upper School. Students were able to purchase a “Val-o-gram” and send it to a classmate or friend. To help keep the fun Valentine’s Day celebration going, Lower School had class parties afterward. Each student made a special Valentine’s Day box to hold their “Val-o-grams” and brought goodies to put in each classmate’s box. Fifth grader Luke Wilson said, “I had a lot of fun making gifts for my classmates and it made me feel special receiving valentine’s too.”
