On Friday, February 10, McKinney Christian Academy held the annual Daddy-Daughter dance for Lower School. To celebrate Valentine’s Day each year, the Lower School organizes a night full of fun for girls to spend time with their dads. This year’s theme was “Sock Hop 50s.” Throughout the night, all different kinds of music was played from the 50s to the present. The girls danced the night away with their poodle skirts and leather jackets as they were guided through three group dances. Lower School parent Pete Clark said, “What a blessing to get such a special night with my Makenna. The Daddy-Daughter dance was fantastic and a memory I’ll always cherish. Thank you, MCA.” The Lower School is hoping to make this a yearly activity, as well as an upcoming Mother-Son dance in April.
