Today’s Senior Spotlight is Emilio Sanchez and Abby Henderson.

Sanchez has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for the past twelve years. In his time at MCA, Sanchez has been involved in varsity soccer, varsity track, varsity football, Yearbook Co-Editor-in-Chief and varsity baseball manager. Outside of school, he enjoys watching college basketball and football with his friends, playing video games, eating Brother’s Pizza, kicking footballs and playing soccer. In the fall, Sanchez plans on attending Oklahoma State University and majoring in Sports Management and Advertising. His favorite MCA memory was watching his best friends, seniors Nate McMahon and Bobby McWard, win the basketball state championship after going to every game with his other best friend, senior Josh Buchanan. A fun fact about Sanchez is that he has a younger brother named Omar that is in kindergarten.

Henderson has been attending MCA since her junior year. In her time at MCA, she has been involved in NHS and was a teacher’s assistant. Outside of school, she enjoys, reading and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Henderson plans on attending LeTourneau University and majoring in Elementary Education. Her favorite MCA memory was supporting the football team in the rain on senior night. A fun fact about Henderson is that she is scared of fish.
