On Monday April 27, McKinney Christian Academy students traveled to serve in different local areas for missions week. Students from the junior class had an option to go on college tour. They visited a variety of colleges including Baylor, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma Baptist University and University of Oklahoma. Junior Wyatt Tessier said, “It was a really good trip and helped me understand what I want in a college, and it will really help me on my college decision.”

Some students also decided to stay in McKinney and help out on and off the MCA campus. Students help with picking up trash and cleaning tables and windows. These students also traveled to Greenville, TX to work with Hunt Ministries and got the chance to help pack food for families and also help fix up their facilities and gardens. When asked about local missions junior Jackson Iseneker said, “We served those whom Christ served. In doing so, love poured out from our hearts on those God loves. But even though we gave our love to others, it still grew between students and teachers alike.”
