Jadyn Chastain, staff writer

As McKinney Christian Academy’s annual week of missions arrived, some students had the opportunity to serve in New Mexico. This was MCA’s first mission trip to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. Students spent the snowy days delivering food and firewood to the Navajo. They also spent time putting together a Vacation Bible School for children who would normally not have the opportunity, complete with free meals and worship led by sophomore Courtney Arnold said,”I loved going to New Mexico because it helped me break out of my comfort zone, and I loved sharing God’s love to people who experience so little love.”
