Today’s senior spotlight is Belle Kanz and Grayson Wilkinson.

Kanz has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for 13 years. In her time at MCA, she has been involved in varsity cheer, varsity cross country, varsity track, National Honor Society, Yearbook Co-Editor in Chief and Newspaper. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, shopping and working out. After graduation, Kanz plans to attend Texas A&M and major in Sociology. Her favorite MCA memory is going on the Costa Rica mission trip her freshman year and being able to return this year as a senior leader. A fun fact about Kanz is that she is scared of frogs. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10.

Wilkinson has been attending MCA since his freshman year. In his time at MCA, he has been involved National Honor Society, Headmaster’s list, baseball, soccer, track, robotics and fishing club. Outside of school he likes to hang out with friends, skateboard and listen to music. In the fall, Wilkinson plans to attend Colorado State University to major in Computer Information Systems and minor in International Business. His favorite MCA memory was during his first baseball practice. While the whole team was huddled, Coach Pirtle asked ‘Stinky’ to grab the baseballs. When someone asked, “Coach, who is Stinky?” all he said was “I don’t know, one of y’all is” and walked away. A fun fact about Wilkinson is that he was a child star in a popular music video. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 11:6.
