On Tuesday March 28, McKinney Christian Academy’s third grade classes took a field trip to visit the Dallas World Aquarium. Students spent the morning touring the exhibits that the aquarium had to offer and learning about all different kinds of aquatic species. They ended their tour at the all-time favorite penguin exhibit. Third grade teach Kathy Purdum said, “This is always exciting because we have been reading Mr. Popper’s Penguins. I think their favorite penguin was the Little Blue Penguin.” To end the day, the students came back to MCA campus to have a pizza lunch.
