On Tuesday, April 4, the McKinney Christian Academy Broadcasting team, Graphic Design, Java and Principles of Computer Science class took a field trip to Trinity Broadcasting Network/Trilogy. When they arrived, they met the security robot and got to name it. They also listened to the CEO speak about robotics. After the speaker they walked over to TBN to take a behind the scenes look of hosting the news and even got to walk on set. Sophomore Leslee Buchanan said, “It was interesting to take a behind the scenes look of how things run and all the components it takes to produce the news.” The students spent the day exploring and experiencing what a news center and networks look like and how things run behind the scenes.
