McKinney Christian Academy’s Middle School choir performed in the Pride of Texas Music Festival on Wednesday, April 12th at Pinstack Bowl. They sang “Breaking Free” from High School Musical and “Never Ending Story” from The Never Ending Story movie. As a group, the singers performed in front of a three judge panel and received a Sweepstakes- Superior Rating by each judge. Choir director, Amy Jordan said, “The choir performed together beautifully, especially rehearsing together only twice before the competition. I was very proud of each student and am grateful for their talents the Lord has given to them. I am looking forward to having some move up to the Upper School choir next year and hope to continue teaching those remaining in Middle School.”
