MCA students head down to Waco, Texas for the annual TAPPS Academic Competitions.

On Tuesday, April 11, a group of MCA students headed down to Waco, Texas for the yearly TAPPS Academic competitions. MCA finished 5th overall in total school standings which includes academics, speech, and yearbook. In Academics, MCA finished 5th overall. Sophomore Cash Harrison placed second in social studies with MCA being the 3rd school overall. In Debate, juniors Gerrit Rogers and Lucas Mohler tied for 3rd and brought home 2nd overall for MCA. Senior Danie Morales placed 2nd in spanish and senior Marisol Sanchez placed 3rd. MCA students competed for three days in Waco, Texas to bring home state titles for MCA.
