On Saturday April 22, McKinney Christian Academy held their Upper School Prom at 1013 Event Center in Plano. The theme of Prom was Masquerade and students were given the option to wear a mask. From the start to finish, students let loose and danced the night away listening to their favorite music. For the first time, students were recognized for Prom Queen and King as well as best dressed. As voted upon by the student body, senior Bobby McWard was awarded Prom King and senior Abby Thomas was awarded Prom Queen. Thomas says “I didn’t expect the honor but I am extremely grateful and it was a great way to end my senior prom.” As voted upon by the teachers, seniors Marisol Sanchez and Justin McCareins were awarded best dressed.
