Sarah Krusing, Editor-In-Chief

Today’s Senior Spotlight is seniors Abby Thomas and Sarah Krusing.

Thomas has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for the past four years. In her time at MCA, she has been involved in varsity soccer, varsity cross country, varsity basketball, varsity track, NHS and Newspaper Editor-in-Chief. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, sleeping, baking and working out. In the fall, Thomas plans on attending Texas A&M University and majoring in Biology on a Pre-Med track. Her favorite MCA memory was when her friend pierced her ears in a hotel during basketball playoffs in Austin. A fun fact about Thomas is that she takes a nap every day.

Krusing has been attending MCA since she was in third grade. While at MCA, Krusing has been involved in varsity track, varsity soccer, NHS Historian, Newspaper Editor-in-Chief, football athletic training and Parakletos. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading, playing soccer and going to church. After graduation, Krusing plans on attending Howard Payne University to play soccer and major in Kinesiology as well as being in the Honors Academy. Her favorite MCA memory was getting to play soccer all four years of high school with her best friends. A fun fact about Krusing is that she has never been out of the country before.
