On Tuesday, September 12, the varsity volleyball team plays against Tyler All Saints at home. The Mustangs defeated the All Saints, winning 3-0. In the first set varsity pulled out a win with a score of 25-11. Sophomore Sadie Blake shared her thoughts when she said, ” First set was really good and everyone had high energy and the confidence really was a factor to winning the first set and I’m glad we got the upper hand strait from the beginning.” Second set the Mustangs’ won 25-6. Junior Bren Williams expresses her happiness saying, ” I think we played well together as team and fought hard all the way to the finish.” The Mustangs won in the third and final set, winning the match 25-20. High in kills this set from many players led the team to pull out the win.
Mustangs next game against Shelton on Thursday September 14.
