On Monday, October 2, McKinney Christian Academy held their annual fundraiser to raise money for the school. The money raised will go towards items such as Chromebooks, laptops, Sphero ball technology, camera equipment, revitalization of the SLC, field paint for sports fields and more. These items enhance the quality of the teaching and allow a better learning experience for the students. Mustang Giving Monday is promoted with flyers handed out at carpool, social media posts, and text messages going out to parents. MCA has raised just shy of $50,000 so far. Connie Gibson, the Director of Development, said, “It is a great way for the MCA community to come together and support each other by giving for items that benefit the learning experience.”
