On Friday before Thanksgiving break, The McKinney Christian Academy seniors participated in the Econ Faire. This event is where the seniors make their own business and products. The seniors set up tables all around the Lower School deck to sell their goods. Many of the seniors decided to sell either food, drinks, clothing, or accessories. A couple seniors decided to have sport or carnival games that the customers could pay to play. Everyone from the Lower School, Middle School, Upper School, MCA staff, and even parents were able to walk around and visit the Econ Faire. When asked about the Econ Faire Senior, Kaylin Starling says “ Kylie Mullins and I sold specialty coffees, teas, and muffins at the econ faire. We did amazing! The school kept us super busy with a constant flow of customers to serve. We learned how to manage the operational side of a business along with the production side. It also helped us learn how to work in a financial partnership.”
