On Friday, December 8, the McKinney Christian Academy Worship and Jazz bands came together to perform in the annual Christmas Chapel. The concert had four Christmas songs and four worship songs followed by “Christmas Tree Farm” by Taylor Swift to end it off. The performers started preparing for the show in early October. The chapel ended with senior Jackson Iseneker reading a Christmas story and senior Gerrit Rogers giving a sermon which challenged the audience to keep Jesus at the center of Christmas. When asked about the concert, senior Sky Miller said, “This year’s Christmas chapel was very impressive. There was a wide variety of songs that everyone enjoyed. My favorite song played was Christmas Tree Farm. The Christmas Chapel did a great job of getting everyone in the holiday spirit for this year.”
The songs performed in order:
