Today’s Senior Spotlight features Jackson Iseneker and Kaylin Starling.
Iseneker has been attending MCA since seventh grade. While at MCA, Iseneker has been involved with the Jazz Band as a trumpet player. Outside of school, he enjoys performing at restaurants on the trumpet and piano with his band Jazz Bath. After graduation, Iseneker plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in jazz performance on trumpet and piano. Isenekers favorite memory at MCA is junior year physics class and being “completely lost.” Iseneker added, ” It was alright though because everyone else was lost and we would all soon understand after a bit more time.” A fun fact about Iseneker is that he wanted to be a train engineer when he was younger. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 150:3
Starling has been attending MCA since she was in kindergarten. During her time at MCA, Starling has been involved in Art, varsity volleyball, varsity track, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Advocates and Parakletos. Outside of school, Starling plays club volleyball and is apart of the Student Leadership Team at First Melissa Church. After graduation, Starling plans to attend Colorado Christian University, majoring in Health Sciences. Starlings favorite memory at MCA was the celebration after winning the area round of playoffs for volleyball her freshman year. A fun fact about Starling is that she used to take Taekwondo for a few months in elementary school. Starlings favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 61:1
