On Monday, February 5, the Lower School had their weekly chapel with Captain Courage. In this chapel, they talked about having faithfulness. Captain Courage used Proverbs 3:3 as an example of what faithfulness is. He picked out a few 5th graders to show a demonstration of faith. While a couple 5th graders were blindfolded, the other 5th graders had to lead them through an obstacle course by only using their words. After Captain Courage was done, the 4th graders went up to talk about Val-O-Grams. Each Val-O-Gram costs a quarter and all the proceeds will be donated to the McKinney Little Free Pantry.

Hi, I'm Bailey and I'm a freshman. I have been attending MCA since 3rd grade. I enjoy playing volleyball, being with friends, and being with family. This is my first year in newspaper and I'm very excited. My favorite MCA memory is going to the championship for D1 in 8th grade and having an undefeated season. My favorite bible verse is Psalms 27:19. "As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart."
