During McKinney Christian Academy’s annual Missions Week, a small group of students chose to take their skills to San Antonio and partner with Blueprint Ministries. This organization helps to restore homes low-income individuals and families living in substandard housing. Students on this trip got the opportunity to helps repair the roof on two houses while also spreading the Word of God. Students also got the chance to visit historic places in San Antonio such as the Alamo and the Riverwalk. When asked about the trip, junior Judd Witte said, “I really enjoy going to San Antonio and helping with people who need it, it’s always nice to do God’s work and share the gospel while representing our school.”

Nicholas Catullo is currently a senior and has been attending MCA since 1st grade. This will be his second year in newspaper. Catullo will be competing in cross country, soccer, and golf for his school. In his freetime, he enjoys racing in Ironman triathlons with his dad and hanging out with friends and family. His favorite memory at MCA is going to the cross country State Championship his freshmen year. His favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10
