Totality of the solar eclipse.

On Monday, April 8, the McKinney Christian Academy students and staff gathered around each other on the football field to watch the total solar eclipse. This eclipse was special because totality over the United States doesn’t happen often. Everybody was very happy to see this rare event in the sky. They cheered and clapped when the moon completely covered the sun. After the short time of totality and when the sun finally started to reappear, the students had to go back inside for regular classes, but they were still amazed by this special solar event.
