On April 23 – 24, the TAPPS Academic competition took place. MCA overall improved over last year as we had four top five placements in Spanish, Debate, Poetry Interpretation and Advanced Math. MCA also had multiple people place in top 10 in different categories such as 11th grader Eric Gressel placing eighth in Literary Criticism as well as third in Spanish. 10th grader Dylan Neuner placed fourth in Poetry Interpretation as well as seventh in Ready Writing. MCA has improved as of last year with lots of top 10 placements and multiple students outshining the competition in multiple different categories.
