On Wednesday, May 1, McKinney Christian Academy held the induction ceremony for new National Honors Society members during first and second period. The senior stole presentation was also announced by principle Laura Smith. The ceremony started with an introduction by Tara Ackmann and an invocation from Ella Wedemeyer. Then seniors Kaylin Starling, Kylie Mullins, Grace Krause, and Morrissey Smith presented the 4 pillars of NHS. The new members were then inducted and the Seniors recieved their stoles. Sophomore Makennah Vann said, “I was so excited to be inducted. I am glad I get to be apart of this society with my friends.” Sophomore Mackenzie Hope also said, “I was a little nervous to be inducted but NHS will be a great opportunity for leadership.”
