McKinney Christian Academy will start the 2024-2025 school year with several new faces around all three campuses. There are 11 new staff members, including a Spanish teacher for the Lower School, Isadora Brudwick, Lower School Music and Honor Choir Director, Angella Caruth, fourth-grade Language Arts and Bible teacher, Michelle Cross, World Literature II and English Composition teacher, Timothy Clark, 6th-12th grade band and the Worship Team Director, Jordonn Searcy, Biology, AP Biology and Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology teacher Nolan Frederick, College Advising and Academics Director Jennifer Heard, Middle School Head Football Coach and IT assistant Brant McAloon, 6th grade Math and 7th grade Bible teacher Tiffanie Prince, Middle School Art teacher and Library assistant Angelly Cintron and 7th-grade Math teacher and also Administrative Assistant Patti Dallhoff.

Jennifer Heard is the Director of College Advising and Academics. She likes to go to the movies with her husband on Friday nights and also goes to see her college kids at their respective schools for game days. Right now, her favorite Bible verse is: Ecclesiastes 12:11-13.

Tiffanie Prince is from a small farming community in southwestern Oklahoma. She has been around MCA for between 8-9 years as a substitute and finally decided she was ready to come back to teaching full time. Prince is teaching 6th grade Math and 7th grade Bible. Her favorite Bible verse is John 1:29 “The next day John saw Jesus coming This reminds her to always look for Jesus in every situation and remember that He came to take away the sins of the world – not just the people like her. He offers His salvation to anyone who will come to Him!

Patti Dallhoff joins our Directed Studies Department as a 7th grade teacher and also admin assistant. Dallhoof is from Texas, loves growing indoors with hydroponics, raising reptiles/bugs, and watching her kid’s sports. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Angella Caruth teaches Lower School Music and Honors choir. This is her 27th year in education. She loves to craft and spend time with her husband and her 2 adult daughters. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5 and 6.

Nolan Frederick is teaching Biology, AP Biology, and Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology. He is coming from Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. Frederick has been teaching for about 36 years most of those years at Highlands Ranch High School. He loves to fish, mountain bike, and roast coffee beans. He used to have homing pigeons and saltwater tanks which were fun hobbies too. His confirmation verse is my favorite bible verse in Philippians 4:6.

Jordonn Searcy teaches 6th-12th grade band and the Worship Team. Searcy grew up in Allen and graduated from there. She went to Texas A&M University-Commerce for college. She is married with three fur babies that they love and spoil! Searcy loves meeting new people and enjoys Saturday morning breakfast/brunch. In her free time, she enjoys going to the zoo or aquarium, escape rooms, traveling, naps and meeting up with friends. Her favorite bible verse is Matthew 5:16

Brant McAloon is the new Middle School Head Football Coach and IT assistant. McAloon is from McKinney, Texas. During his free time you can find him either hanging out with his wife and his three dogs or in his game room playing Xbox/PC with his friends. His favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Michelle Cross will be teaching fourth grade Language Arts and Bible. Cross enjoys playing pickleball, tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to working with her sister, Ms. Williams, and watching my niece, Brendan, play volleyball for the Lady Stangs this year. Her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9.
