On Thursday, September 19, the McKinney Christian Academy cross country Head Coach Rhett McKeller took two of his athletes, eighth graders Camden Holley and Quaid Morrow, to the PlyTri McKinney Triathlon. When asked how it went, he said, “Camden Holley and I raced in the Sprint Relay division. Quaid Morrow swam a 300m leg, I did the 12 mile bike leg, and Camden ran the 5k to finish it out. We were 1st out of 5 other teams competing in the relay and won by 5min, 17 sec over the 2nd place team.” The cross country team’s next race is the Highlight Run on Monday, September 23.
