On Monday, September 23, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustang’s Cross Country team showcases their skill to the whole school running in the annual Highlight Run. The highlight run allows parents, staff, and other MCA students to watch the cross-country team race. There was a water balloon launch for prizes at the race and a race with MCA’s mascot, Marty the Mustang. Assistant coach Liz Rabia had this to say about the highlight run, “I really love that the school does the highlight run every year, because it gives all the cross country runners a chance to run in front of the whole school, and I think that its a really good thing for all the runners to be able to do that.”
