On Thursday, September 26, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School D1 volleyball team played Good Shepherd. Eighth-grader Realin Robinson says, “In the second set we showed more potential as a team, and started to work together. As the game went on, we began to uplift each other and not dwell on our mistakes. One thing we can work on is being more consistent.” Also, On Thursday, September 26, the Middle School D2 volleyball team played Good Shepherd. Sixth grader Mikaela Hunt shares her thoughts saying, ” The game didn’t go as we would have liked, but towards the end our communication started to get better.”

Presley Dreffs has been at MCA since 4th grade and is currently a freshman. This is her first year of newspaper and she is excited for all the opportunities this year will bring. Presley is apart of the MCA volleyball program, but also enjoys playing it outside of school. In her freetime, Presley enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. Her favorite memory is when the softball coach surprised the softball team with Nerf guns and water balloons.
Presley's favorite verse is Philippians 4:6.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
