On Tuesday, October 1, the McKinney Christian Academy JV and Varsity volleyball teams played against TK Gorman High School. The Lady Mustangs traveled away for this game to Tyler, Texas. The Varsity team secured the win in three sets, the first score being 25-15, the second being 25-15, and the final set being 25-9. Senior Kadence Ackmann led the team in kills with 10, and senior Mia Gunn led the team in digs with 18. Junior Sadie Blake spoke about the game saying, “The game went well we finished quickly, and the student section made it really enjoyable.” The JV team won in two sets to secure the win. Freshman Bella Goodwin spoke about the game saying, ” We played well, and it was so fun hitting; the energy was crazy.”
Their next game is on Thursday, October 3, at Dallas Christian.
