On Friday, October 17, the Lower School students participated in the Fun Run. The purpose of the Fun Run was to raise money to buy an outdoor shade covering for the Lower School playground. They have raised an amount of 56,800 dollars so far. During the week, the students learned about a new character trait daily. The traits they learned about were focus, self-awareness, respect, trustworthiness, creativity, and life learning. All of these traits were followed by verses from the Bible that represented them. Lower School was given a goal to reach 45,000 dollars. Once they reach the goal, they get the prize of making the Lower School Principle , Mrs. Krusing, a human sundae. Fortunately, the Lower School reached the goal and covered her in ice cream. Overall, the students had a fantastic time at the Fun Run.
