During the week of Homecoming, the Upper School students were given the privilege to dress up according to the theme for each day. The theme for Monday was Country vs. Country Club, Tuesday’s theme was Shark Attack Luau, Wednesday’s dress up day was Hollywood, Thursday was USA day, and Friday was spirit wear were students got to wear their mums and garters. Senior Mia Gunn expresses how she felt about homecoming dress up week by saying, “The themes this year were super good and made homecoming week really fun!” When Junior Sadie Zbranek was asked about her homecoming week she said, “I had a lot of fun dressing up to the themes and taking cute pictures with my friends.”

Lyric is currently attending her first year at MCA as a freshman. She enjoys hanging out with her friends in her freetime and riding horses competitively. Lyric is excited to contribute to this years Mane Edition newspaper.
Her favorite bible verse is Ephesians 2:10,
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Hannah Doshier has been attending MCA since she was in third grade, and is now a junior. She enjoys playing sports at MCA such as soccer and xc. Doshier spends most of her time outside of school by playing club soccer, and spending time with her close family and friends. Teach theatre is also one of Doshier’s favorite things to occupy her during the school year. This year is her second year in newspaper and she is so excited to be able to inform people about MCA through The Mane Edition. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
