On Thursday, November 7, McKinney Christian Academy held its annual Night of Worship. This year, the event was held at Barnhill Vineyards in Anna, Texas. The evening kicked off with a word of prayer from junior Dylan Neuner. Next, the Lower School honor choir sang two songs to the crowd, “You are My All in All” and “All Who Call on the Name of Jesus.” MCA Band Director Jordan Searcy sang “Gratitude.” Senior Joy Allen shared a touching message with the congregation, emphasizing that the Joy of the Lord is their strength. “Glorious Day” and “Praise” were sung by the Upper School Choir. The Upper School praise band closed out the singing portion of the night with “Praise You Anywhere” and “Peace Be Still.” For the main message, the founder of La Tienda, Jason Hernandez, shared his testimony. To finally end the night, senior Eric Gressel prayed for the congregation. When asked about the Night of Worship, freshman Cana Heckadon explained, “Worship night with my friends was so fun. My basketball team and I got to hear the worship band sing, it was definitely a memorable night.”
