On December 3, the upper school and middle school Fine Arts programs showcased their work. The choir teacher, Amy Jordan, chose many beautiful songs for her choir, such as “Little Drummer Boy” and “Somewhere in My Memory.” The art teachers, Ashley Bruegel and Angelly Cintron showed off all of the students’ artwork that they had been working on in the art room. The band performed their pieces like “Jingle Bells” and “Deck the Halls with Chips and Salsa” at the showcase. Overall, the showcase was successful and a great way to kick off the holiday season. Freshman Elizabeth Thompson spoke about the showcase. She said “It was impressive seeing everybody’s artwork that they worked very hard on. The band and choir performances were very impressive to hear, filled my ears with such joy, and got me into the holiday spirit.”
The next Fine Art Showcase is on April 4, 2025.
