Today’s senior spotlight is Destiny Rivera and Gavin Fletcher:

Rivera has attended McKinney Christian Academy since freshman year. While at MCA she has participated in Varsity Cheer and AP Art. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends. After graduation, Rivera plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in psychology. Her favorite MCA memory is going to TAPPS her sophomore year for cheer. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 31:30.

Fletcher has attended MCA since Kindergarten. While at MCA he has been involved in Vocal Ensemble. Outside of school, Fletcher enjoys playing guitar. After graduation, he is undecided on where to attend but will be majoring in finance or sports analytics. His favorite MCA memory was going to the region choir. A fun fact about Fletcher is that he owns a 1972 Ford Mustang. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:16.

Audrey Wedemeyer is a junior and has been at MCA since her freshman year. This is her third year in newspaper and she is excited to update others on what occurs at MCA. She is very involved in her church, Cottonwood Creek, which she has been attending since she was little, and serves in worship and student ministry there. In her free time, Wedemeyer enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling and singing. She's looking forward growing in her faith and building new relationships. Her favorite Bible verse is Nahum 1:7 "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him."
