Today’s senior spotlight: Mia Gunn and Jace Scott.

Gunn has attended McKinney Christian Academy since sixth grade. While at MCA, she has participated in Yearbook and varsity volleyball. Outside of school, she enjoys playing pickleball and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Gunn plans to attend the University of Oklahoma to major in biology on a pre med track. Her favorite MCA memory is going to Guatemala for missions week her junior year. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7.

Scott has attended MCA since his junior year. While at MCA, he has participated in varsity basketball and Broadcast. Outside of school, he enjoys playing basketball. He is undecided on where to attend after graduation. His favorite MCA memory is senior retreat. A fun fact about Scott is he lived in Costa Rica for 4 years. His favorite Bible verse is 2 Chronicles 15:7.

Audrey Wedemeyer, Editor-In-Chief
Audrey Wedemeyer is a junior and has been at MCA since her freshman year. This is her third year in newspaper and she is excited to update others on what occurs at MCA. She is very involved in her church, Cottonwood Creek, which she has been attending since she was little, and serves in worship and student ministry there. In her free time, Wedemeyer enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling and singing. She's looking forward growing in her faith and building new relationships. Her favorite Bible verse is Nahum 1:7 "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him."
