On Thursday, February 28, MCA hosted the TAPPS 4A Division 3 Regional soccer playoff game against Prince of Peace. At halftime, the score was tied 1-1. Senior Casey Gerardis scored the first goal of the game. Gerardis was asked about her thoughts on the game. “This was a very close game, and I am so proud of our girls and their handwork. I can’t wait to play at state; let’s go, Mustangs!” The game was close; both teams continued to take shots and work together. Junior Sadie Zbranek scored the final and winning goal of the game.
The state semifinal game is in Round Rock, Texas on Monday, March 4 at 12:30pm.
