On Tuesday, April 1, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs Baseball team competed against Westlake Academy. The game showcased good moments of skill and determination from both teams, with the Mustangs displaying impressive play throughout the course of the game. Pogue remarked, “We came out slow, but as the game progressed, we found our rhythm and got hot, ending with scoring seven runs.” They were down 2-0 in the 7th inning but in the last inning they came back up and got more runs. The final score was 7-2 bringing their winning streak to 15.
Their next game is Friday April 4 at Fort Worth Country Day.
