Students and parents filled the Student Life Center for the McKinney Christian Academy 2024-2025 Upper School Award Ceremony on Wednesday, April 30th. McKinney Christian Academy acknowledged the students who worked hard and exhibited Christ-like character. The ceremony began with Academic and Diligence awards. The Academic Award is given to the student with the highest grade average in each course. These students received a medal of recognition. The Diligence Award recognizes the student identified by the teacher as being the most diligent in the course. The diligence award students received a certificate of recognition. MCA exists to honor Jesus Christ by teaching students to live biblically through education of mind, body, and spirit. Colossians 3:23 scripture says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” MCA acknowledged the students who worked hard and exhibited Christian character. Towards the end of the ceremony, the Salutatorian and Valedictorian were announced. Joy Allen is the 2024-2025 Salutatorian, and Eric Gressel is the Valedictorian.
