On August 12, The McKinney Christian Ladies J.V. volleyball team played against Fort Worth Christian, winning in two sets. The scores of the game were 25-16 and 25-14 . Sophomore, Cana Heckadon, spoke about her thoughts on the game and said, “We played very well, our communication was loud, uplifting, and Christlike. We showed great sportsmanship with cheers and high-fives throughout the whole game.” The J.V. have a tournament on August 14 at Lake hill Preparatory School.
On August 12, The McKinney Christian Ladies varsity volleyball team also played against Fort Worth Christian. The Stangs won in three sets. In the first set the ladies won 25-22, the second set 25-17, and the third set 25-16. Sophomore Tatum Carroll led the team in kills, and Tristyn Vineyard led in digs. Sophomore, Presley Dreffs spoke a bit about the game and said, ” I had so much fun playing this game. The energy levels were so high, and everyone was enjoying themselves. The teamwork was top-notch, and chemistry was unstoppable.” The Mustangs’ next game is August 19, at Lake Country.
