On Thursday, September 11, the middle school D1 volleyball team played Legacy Christian. They started the first set with a score of 11-25. The second set ended with a tight score of 22-25. Seventh grader Ariel Kerogosien speaks about the game, saying, “During this game, we tried really hard, playing our hearts out for every ball. We showed lots of teamwork, keeping the energy up even if we weren’t winning.” Ariel was also a standout player during this game.
On Thursday, September 11, the middle school D2 volleyball team won against Legacy Christian. They fought the first set, winning 25-22. The second set ended with a close score of 25-22. Seventh grader Ivy Sebastian shares her thoughts on the game, saying, “Since Legacy was the number one team, we were a little nervous going into the game. We made sure not to let it get into our heads and fight through. With great teamwork, we won the game.” Sixth grader Adeline Castillo was the libero and played an outstanding game.
