On October 14, the Lady Mustangs JV volleyball team played and defeated Tyler All Saints in two sets. In the first set, they won 25-11. The ladies scored lots of aces against Tyler. In the second set, the Stangs kept it rolling, winning 25-9. The Mustangs worked hard and maintained great energy throughout the entire game. After winning both sets, this resulted in their 11th win of the season.
On October 14, the Lady Mustangs varsity volleyball team also played and defeated Tyler All Saints in three sets. In the first set, the ladies defeated All Saints 25-11. The ladies also won the second set. The score being 25-13. Going into the third set, the Mustangs let up a little on serves. They maintained their energy and won the third set 27-25. We also celebrated our two seniors, Aubrey Hejl and Sadie Blake. Their teammates gifted them baskets, flowers, and created a slideshow of their childhood that was played in front of the crowd. Junior, Tristyn Vineyard. spoke on the game, she said, “Winning tonight felt amazing. We trusted each other, stayed locked in, and played our hearts out. We all kept our energy up the whole game, on and off the court.”
The JV and varsity ladies’ next game is October 16 against Bishop Gorman.
